To relaunch our school’s monthly show, F1rst Take, after a year-long hiatus, I developed a concept to reintroduce the series with a bold visual statement: a single-take drone shot flying through our entire campus. The shoot required over a year of preparation, including securing drone licenses, flight permits from Singapore's aviation authorities, and negotiating internal school approvals. I spent around a month planning out the route, which had to include transition points while keeping a connection to the drone. Despite a last-minute production crunch, I completed the project basically solo, planning, piloting, and editing the final cut. It became the feature opener for our post-winter break return to First Take, and remains one of the most logistically ambitious pieces I’ve ever tackled alone.
