To relaunch my school's monthly show, F1rst Take, after a year-long hiatus, we collaborated closely with our school's production company, Studio41. Our team developed a bold concept: a single-take drone shot flying through the entire campus to reintroduce the series.
This ambitious shoot demanded over a year of meticulous preparation, including securing necessary drone licenses, obtaining flight permits from Singapore's aviation authorities, and navigating internal school approvals. We dedicated significant time to planning the intricate flight path, ensuring seamless transition points while maintaining a strong drone connection throughout the complex route.
Despite a last-minute production crunch, we executed this project, handling the planning, piloting, and editing of the final cut. The result was a stunning feature opener for F1rst Take's post-winter break return, and it remains one of the most logistically ambitious pieces our team has ever tackled.
